To strengthen our supply chain team, we are looking for a Demand Planner (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible. The post is initially on a fixed-term contract for one and a half years.

What you create

  • Analysing forecasts and ordering patterns to determine future product demand and ensure the availability of components for timely production
  • Coordinating and communicating with departments to ensure an adequate supply of materials
  • Identifying and resolving bottlenecks and issues in the supply chain, including delays, stock discrepancies or supplier problems
  • Ensuring that target and actual stock levels match, and proactively preventing stock discrepancies to minimise costs
  • Developing and implementing operational strategies to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction, including the use of software and data analysis tools for demand planning
  • Conducting root cause analyses, and managing and evaluating market and customer trend data

What you bring along

  • A successfully completed technical or commercial apprenticeship, or equivalent qualification, with several years’ experience in production and/or materials planning
  • At least 2 years’ experience in continuous process improvement
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and confidence in using MRP systems and related computer-aided planning tools
  • Experience in defining production requirements and in identifying potential for improvement based on data
  • Experience of working in cross-functional and international teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and organisational ability when managing multiple materials, orders and schedules to tight deadlines
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with procurement, production and logistics
  • A structured and analytical approach to work, as well as a sense of responsibility
  • Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
