What you create

Conduct microbiological methods (e.g. bacterial count determination, sterility testing) including aseptic working under the laminar flow bench according to the test instructions/ protocols

Perform microbiological monitoring in clean rooms and laboratories (e.g. surface swabbing, air bacteria count and particle measurement) as well as monitoring of media like water and process gases

Document steps, results etc. according to the test instructions/ protocols and other general GMP requirements

Evaluate results in accordance with the specification or other instructions

Prepare sample shipping for external testing at contract laboratories
Create and maintain GMP-compliant QC documents
Ensure equipment functionality, including maintenance, qualification, and repairs

Support investigations of microbiological compliance activities and change control procedures

Support microbiology management in ensuring effective, safe and GMP-compliant laboratory operations

What you bring along

Education as a Technical Assistant (pharmaceutical-technical assistant, biological-technical assistant, chemical-technical assistant, medical-technical lab assistant) or with comparable qualification e.g. by semesters in a natural sciences degree program

Experience in microbiologic laboratory GMP environment or other highly regulated microbiologic laboratory environment

Computer skills

Corresponding sense of responsibility

Fluent language skills in German, English knowledge sufficient to understand work instructions and test specifications

Social competencies and organizational skills

Learning agility and communication skills
