What you create
- Analysis of forecasts and ordering patterns to determine future product demand in order to ensure the availability of components for on-time production
- Coordination and communication with various departments to ensure smooth operations
Identification and resolution of potential bottlenecks or issues in the supply chain through the development of appropriate risk mitigation strategies - Monitoring inventory levels to optimize costs and ensure product availability
- Developing and implementing operational strategies to improve efficiency in customer satisfaction and production
- Managing and analyzing data on product and customer trends
- Providing technical and disciplinary leadership, as well as strategic development for the team
- Presentation of project plans and operational plans within S&OP, and coordination of optimisations and adjustments
- Use of software and data analysis tools to forecast demand and plan accordingly
What you bring along
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, economics, engineering, or a related field
- Extensive experience in forecasting, planning, or modeling, as well as process optimization, preferably on a large scale or at the enterprise level
- Organizational and leadership skills, including successful team management and the ability to motivate others
- Experience in defining project and production requirements, as well as in working with data and key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement
- Very good working knowledge of MS Office
- Experience working in interdisciplinary teams
- Very good written and spoken German and English
