What you create

  • Large-scale GMP production: Independently planning, executing, and monitoring downstream processing steps such as filtration and chromatographic procedures (250–1,000 liters) under GMP conditions
  • Documentation and quality management: Creating and updating GMP-compliant documents, such as SOPs and batch record reviews
  • Process Transfer: Planning, coordinating, and documenting process transfers from development to production
  • Quality and Process Optimization: Ongoing review and optimization of processes to improve yield and efficiency
  • Ensuring Compliance: Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in accordance with GMP standards, as well as providing support during audits and inspections

What you bring along

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a science field such as biotechnology, bioprocess engineering, biochemistry, or a comparable field
  • Experience in a GMP production environment in the DSP field
  • In-depth knowledge of chromatography, filtration technologies, and virus inactivation is a plus
  • Experience in late-stage clinical or commercial biopharmaceutical manufacturing, including technology transfer, process validation, PPQ, or Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT), is desirable
  • Understanding of process robustness, control strategies, and lifecycle considerations is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, intercultural competence, and a willingness to collaborate internationally
  • C1-level proficiency in spoken and written German and English
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to work well in a team, and a solution-oriented, self-directed work style
