What you create

GMP production: Independent planning, implementation and monitoring of downstream processing steps such as filtration, chromatography and virus inactivation in a GMP environment
Documentation: Creation and updating of GMP-compliant documents such as SOPs and batch record reviews
Process transfer: Planning, coordination and documentation of process transfers in close coordination with an international team. Collaboration and continuous exchange with international colleagues, including training and technical support, both on-site and remote
Travelling: Occasional business trips to Egypt to support and coordinate international production processes
Quality and process optimisation: Ongoing review and optimisation of processes to improve yield and efficiency
Ensuring compliance: Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements according to GMP standards as well as supporting audits and inspections

What you bring along

Completed scientific degree in Biotechnology, Bioprocess Engineering, Biochemistry, or a comparable field
Experience in a GMP production environment, ideally in the DSP sector
In-depth knowledge of chromatography, filtration technologies, and virus inactivation is an advantage
Excellent communication skills, intercultural competence, and willingness to collaborate internationally
Willingness to travel regularly to Egypt
Fluent in German and English with strong negotiation skills
Organizational talent, teamwork skills, and a solution-oriented, self-reliant approach to work
